Nkosana Dube is a Lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies, teaching theoretical and practical courses in Journalism Innovation. He has research interests in Digital Communication Technologies and Journalism Practice, Citizen Journalism, and Data Visualisation. Dube has participated in local conferences including the Faculty International Conference on Communication and Information Science (ICCIS) and the Zimbabwe New Media Summit as a presenter. He joined the Department in 2012 as a Demonstrator and has been instrumental in mentoring students on digital journalism practical skills. He is involved in radio programs seeking to promote digital media literacy skills and has also served in various committees of the senate including the Campus Safety and security, ICTS, and Timetabling Committees. Dube holds an MSc in Journalism and Media Studies, a BSc in Journalism and Media Studies, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education from the National University of Science and Technology.
