Charles Munyaradzi Musungah is currently a Professional Instructor (Film and TV) in the Department of Journalism & Media Studies. He has previously worked as a Lecturer and Head of Department for film, radio, and TV production. He has worked with different teacher training colleges in Visual and Performing Arts curriculum development and implementation. He holds a BA hon in Film and Theater Arts Studies from Midlands State University, an MSc in Journalism and Media Studies, and a Certificate in Basic Sign Language. Musungah is a filmmaker, a Scriptwriter, a Director, a Producer, and a mentor in the Creative Industries in Zimbabwe.  He has mentored young creatives in marginalized communities such as Lupane, Binga, and Filabusi. Some of his projects are Esigabeni, a 13-episode TV drama series for social change short in Lupane with community members of Lupane, and Ziyanyongana the Chaos, a 13-episode TV drama, on Batonga legends, myths, and cultural heritage. Short films include Dare the Curse, Six Years, Expectations, Blood and Tears, UnderXul, etc. Over the years, he has led Amakhosi Productions in the creation of content for different platforms such as stage, radio, film, TV, and mass displays.
