Mr Lindani Koketso Ncube

Mr LK Ncube is a Senior Lecturer in the department who joined the university as a teaching assistant in 2010. He is the Faculty of Engineering representative in the University Senate. He has also served in University committees including being a member of the Faculty of Engineering Projects committee which secured funding from the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE), UK for Enriching Engineering Education in Sub-Saharan Africa. He was seconded to Natpack Private Limited where he served in the Production and Operations Management. He has also served as a consultant for the Botswana Ministry of Education and Skills Development where he carried out capacity development for the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DTVET). He has published several peer-reviewed papers and also serves as a reviewer for several journals including Nature Communications and the International Journal of Environment and Waste Management. He is a member of the Society for Plastics Engineers (SPE) and Advanced Industrial Materials and Manufacturing Systems (AIMMS) research group.
Research interests: Packaging materials, biocomposite materials, modeling and simulation, sustainable manufacturing, and operations management.
