Biography

Praxedes Mindu, currently serving as the Senior Secretary in the Department of Banking and Economic Sciences, has a rich history at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. In 2004, Praxedes joined NUST as a Temporary Fulltime Secretary in the Department of COMA (Communication and Media Arts).By 2005, her dedication and skills led to her appointment as a full-time Senior Secretary in the Library Department, where she contributed for a period of two years.In 2007, Praxedes made a significant move to the Department of Banking, where she continues to serve to this day.Beyond her administrative role, Praxedes is a seasoned non-academic staff member with a fervor for entrepreneurship.Her core values include hard work, integrity, excellent communication, dependability, and reliability.

Praxedes holds a B. Com (Hon) Degree in Business Management from NUST, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Praxedes Mindu’s commitment to her work and her passion for entrepreneurship make her a valuable asset to NUST. Her academic qualifications and professionalism contribute significantly to the university’s dynamic environment.
