About Course

The Certificate in Leadership and Management (CLM) is a 6-month programme for managers, supervisors and aspiring managers. The programme, motivated by a common desire for professionalism and effective leadership aims to:

1. minimise challenges and obstacles that impede the success of virtuous decision-making and harmony,
2. establish conditions under which managers and supervisors can operate,
3. inculcate a culture of effective leadership and management skills within organisations,
4. bridge the gap between managers and supervisors who have non-management degree holders and management degree holders,

Entry Requirements: 5 O’ Levels, special entry considered on merit. Access to the
Internet, and basic computer knowledge.

Duration: 6 months (lessons held once every month on a weekend and or

online)

3. Introduction to Decision-Making and Problem Solving
4. Communication and Public Relations
5. Professionalism
6. Introduction To Basic Accounting Principles

Assessment: Group Presentations, Assignments and Written examinations
Certification: Qualifying students shall be certified by NUST-CCE.
